| Comments | I must admit I got this book simple because I knew it would contain images of mermaids (I love mermaids.) I wasn’t too dissapointed either. The artwork is stunning, and could easily grace an art gallery. The first 48 pages of this book are colour illustrations of the main characters & minor characters, with a few images of the “world.” Then follows the pencil/line work of the illustrations and these are what really please me. The detail is extraordinary & I really wish I could read Japanese, because each sketch comes with caption notes. The screen captures from the game I guess are necessary (since the book is about the Meremanoid game!) but thankfully do not make up the bulk of this book, and are still quite lovely to look at. Of all the game artbooks I own, this was a purchase I am happy about.
