| Comments | The reason why I purchased this (it was the first of the Shikisai Ohkoku Color Kingdom books that I bought) was because of the 8 pages of information, on one of my favourite artists Aoi Nanase. It turned out to be pleasing in all aspects. This was a book published by Comickers containing “How Tos” and interviews with some of Japan’s top artists today. This issue includes Kojima Ayami, Shinkiro, Yoneda Hitoshi, Nakamura Satoko + Rai, Funato Akari, Okama, Koji, Shii Hirone & of course Nanase Aoi. Each how to is detailed and lots of information is provided on the tools, mediums etc. The added bonus of this book, as in the others are the black & white versions of the images used to do the “How Tos.” A sort of invitation to rip them out, and give colouring in a go! A nice collection of artwork, good presentation, but it gets a average rating because it’s not really an “artbook!”
