| Comments | This is an early collection of Ryo Ramiya’s artwork, featuring art she has done for various magazines. If you own her Luminous Girls artbook you’ll realise just how much she has changed since her marriage to Hiroyuki Utatane (an art style that has affected her own as shown in Luminous Girls.) While I don’t think this is a bad thing, one could almost not make the connection between the two artbooks, the style is so different. The images are an interesting mix of innocently sweet, and deliciously sensual; from mermaids to bunny girls; varying moods and themes. While there is no obviously objectional material in this book, there is enough skin to provide fan service Unfortunately the price of this book, and the number of pages, doesn’t quite add up. While the images are nice, they aren’t extraordinary. The only thing that makes this book special to me, is the fact that it is signed by Ryo Ramiya herself. It was a very nice surprise when I opened the book for the first time. |
