| Comments | In December 2004 Geneon announced on their site that the Last Exile Volume 7 Sealed Move Region 1 edition would come with a special bonus item of 13 postcards featuring artwork from the Region 2 DVDs. Only 15,000 specially stickered units would contain these bonus postcards, and once sold out the bonus would be a single card. The R2 disks were full colour Range Murata illustrations, so I was very relieved when a friend was able to source me one! Especially since there was no gaurantee that I’d get a disk that came with the postcards if I ordered from an online store. The postcards are housed in a small envelope (pictured) and were sealed onto the dvd case useing shrink wrap. Flipping through the postcards, some should be recognisable as dvd inserts as well as promotional artwork, all beautiful thanks to Murata’s unique style. The postcards themselves are a standard card stock, with a sleek, smooth finish on either side.
At this stage, you are not going to find these images printed elsewhere unless you either bought the R2 dvds or got this postcard set. All the Last Exile artbooks to date contain extremely minimal artwork done by Range Murata for this series. |
