Comments This set of postcards was created exclusively by Fanboy Entertainment Inc. for the Anime Central 2001 Convention, which occured on May 11th – 13th, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, USA. They have never been sold in Japan. Touted as being limited to only 300 units, I have a feeling that a lot more were published, since I was definitely not at this convention in 2001, and was able to buy it 3 years later!

It features 10 postcards by Range Murata, some artwork which featured in Murata’s doujin work such as The Missing, Marion Company, and from his his Futurhythm artbook; and some which were created specifically for this postcard set (according to the publisher; I can confirm that the cover image definitely was created exclusively for this set.)
A wrap around cover (featured on the image below) houses the cards, and contains a message on the inside from Range Murata:

Dear Everyone,
These are just a few of my drawings but I hope you enjoy them.
It will be my great pleasure.

The cards themselves are printed on a thick card stock with a smooth/slick, slightly glossy finish. The images on the postcards aren’t all that wow though, but it’s worth getting this set as not only will it be cheaper, but it’ll be easier to source this than some of Range Murata’s doujinshi.
