| Comments | The name of this book is pretty much the Greek symbol for PHI, but for the sake of convenience most people will call it Phi (instead of useing the symbol itself!) It is printed on the front cover of the book in gold, with a shimmering/holographic texture (top left of picture below) and is indented into the cover.
The content of the book is your standard Urushihara fare, bouncy beauties in various stages of undress, with a few males looking decidedly out of place due to their “dress” (and believe me, in this book, wearing any clothes seems to make the character look over dressed!) Featuring artwork from the oav ‘Front Innocence,’ a series in the Megami magazine called ‘Alpha,’ illustrations from his ‘Growlanser IV,’ a few illustrations from ‘Ragnarok City’ and varied illustrations from other magazines and promotions, this book is a definite must for fans of Satoshi Urushihara, but it’s nothing overly special either. The only thing to note is that because it’s his most latest artbook, the art show cases a change in his drawing style. The lines are more refined, the work more detailed and the colouring less flat. He’s definitely getting better, but not as if he wasn’t good before Note: nothing overtly dodgy in this book. Lots of skin (of course.) Also please do not buy this book because it contains some Ragnarok City artwork in it. I know Ragnarok City is popular, but honestly, there just isn’t much in this book. |
