Comments This book is a conglomeration of images done by Gotoh for varying anime series. These are:
Kiddy Grade – 12 pages of colour illustrations
Gate Keepers (TV) – 28 pages of colour illustrations
Gate Keepers (Game) – 20 pages of colour illustrations
Gate Keepers 21 – 8 pages of colour illustrations
Real Bout Highschool – 10 pages of colour illustrations
Double Cast – 2 pages of colour illustrations
Nadesico (Movie & Game) – 14 pages of colour illustrations
Nadesico (TV) – 4 pages of colour illustrations
Aquarian Age – 2 pages of colour illustrations
Original & Other Works – 10 pages of colour illustrations

A prolific artist indeed, and although I do enjoy his style, I also find it, well, creepy.
It’s the eyes and faces you see, especially those of his female characters. The eyes are commonly drawn huge with a very blank look. As if you’re looking into their soul and you see nothing there. The faces are also often posed in the same way, very rarely do any of his characters show emotion. Infact my favourite of all the character art he has done, has to be for Kiddy Grade. They atleast have emotion (and they’re hot too!)

Buy this book if you’re a fan of any of these series (although Nadesico fans may wish to buy Nadesico specific books instead) or the artist himself.
