@Phil H
I could spend ages putting together a design, with navigational set up and features that I want… or I can find something that already does it and edit as needed to suit my tastes
I have no hang ups about “coding my own” or some such snobby web design thing.
If someone has done it well, then use it. Time is better spent providing content which people will come back to read.
This is also a personal site, it would be a whole different kettle of fish if I was getting paid to do this.
A site about the various interests, hobbies and opinions of a 30-something lady living in Auckland, New Zealand. You’ll find stuff about Japanese culture, crafts, photography, artbook reviews & cooking here. You’ll find very little about her personal & professional life. Some things aren’t meant to be told...
You too? Such a horribly addictive thing, though you seem to have started on the reverse end of the wordpress proccess as me
@Phil H
Oh? What do you mean by that?
@Zeb
Starting off with a a prebuilt template rather than getting one of your own together and hacking it in before going live with the posting.
