Pay It Forward: Stitching Style

Last month I put my name down to take part in a cross stitch meme style Pay It Forward (henceforth referred to as PIF) with the lovely Heather over at Reflections in the Pond.
Received the package yesterday and all I can say is, yay! :D

Pay it Forward from Heather

Heather sent me:

  • Just Cross Stitch magazine featuring Teresa Wentzler’s ‘Nativity’
  • Topiary Trees by Teresa Wentzler
  • Petites Peacock & Unicorn by Teresa Wentzler
  • Stitchable bookmark
  • DMC, Whisper, beads and a gorgeous card.

I’ve been wanting those TW designs for quite some time, so thankyou Heather!
Still need to put together your care package, so don’t worry, have not forgotten.

Agreeing to take part in this PIF means I now must also ‘pay it forward.’ The rules are quite simple:

  1. Send no less than 5 stitching related items per person within the next 365 days.
  2. Items can be DMC, other threads, stitching needles, straight pins, buttons, scissors, ribbons, etc. – a combination of items such as 3 threads, 1 pack of straight pins and 1 pack of stitching needles or just 5 threads.
  3. The items must be new and not used. (Send things you’d be happy to receive.)
  4. If you win, you must be willing to post this PIF on your blog and do the same for at least 2 people.

So, if you are keen to take part, and would love to receive free cross stitching surprises in the mail, and are excited to do the same for others, please comment! Depending on how many are interested, I may do more than 2, although my limit will probably be 4.

I’ll give people a week to enter before I announce the winners. :)

    That’s a lovely gift :)

I’m absolutely horrible at doing things like this though :(
