My first biscornu was practice for a Halloween Biscornu exchange I had signed up to on the Cross Stitch forums. Once I had that under my belt, I figured it would be a breeze to do the Halloween one… guess again!
The stitching went fine, I picked a freebie design by Barbara Ana Designs called (imaginatively) ‘Halloween Biscornu.’ Enjoyed stitching this design so much, I will be stitching it for myself one day soon. Alas, when it came to stitching it up into a biscornu, I got cold feet.
Thankfully, my luffly friend Laura came along to hand hold me while I did the biscornu up, and as you can see, I think it turned out quite nice.

Will be posting this to Jaki in Scotland on Monday, and getting onto stitching for a local Halloween Exchange between Laura, Jen and I tomorrow. After that, I’ll be working on a secret squirrel project… mwha ha ha ha ha!
p.s. I’ve been avoiding getting sick this past winter, but as Murphy would have it, the minute I go on annual leave, I get sick! ![]()
Bad chest infection, expectorants, anti-biotics, you get the picture. Thankfully Laura and Jen saved my holiday yesterday by spending the day shopping and then watching movies, chatting and stitching until midnight. Thanks for the awesome time girls!
It’s gorgeous! And even better in person.
And I had a great night too.
It looks great, Zeb.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
It looks great! Barbara Ana’s patterns are so cute!
