Camera Update & Photos

I’ve had quite a few people asking me how my new Nikon D90 camera is going, and even more asking to see photos.
I find it heartening to know that people are interested in this camera, it’s a pleasure to be able to share my interests with like minded individuals
Just wish I could deliver!
I must stress, I am a complete newbie when it comes to more serious photography. All my life I’ve been a point n’ shooter, I’ve never understood (or wanted to understand) the technicalities of taking great photos. So the photos I am taking right now are all test shots. Nothing to write...
Nan Caldera Goodness & Camera Decisions

Losing so much weight in just over a year is pretty cool, everyone tells me how great I look, and I definitely feel a lot more healthy… but as I have quickly discovered, I feel the cold so much more.
So much so, I’m wearing so many layers right now, I am positive I look like a bloody polar bear
Oh well, atleast I have a new pair of fingerless gloves, which will come in very handy when I get the new camera…
Which will be, a Nikon D90. Just got to decide between these two options:
1. Nikon D90 + 4.0gb card + 18-105mm + Nikon 50mm f1.8 D + Lowepro Cirrus 140

Busy Stitchy Bee

Been busy today going through my cross stitch stash; basically all the cross stitch related things I own. I never realised just how many there were either.
I work on the idea that if I see a design I like, buy it if I can afford it and don’t leave it til too late, i.e. when it’s no longer available and impossible to find!
This does mean I have heaps to choose from too
Updated my stash list with all the new items, and created the first gallery for this site to show case my stash photos, which I will share now since this is a stash splash post too!
